  I got food poisoning from either the jerk chicken or the potato wedges on Monday, May 8. 2017. I am still sick on Friday, May 12, 2017 but finally starting to feel better. Please be more careful with your cross contamination.

  Asked an assistant store manager, Doug, to explain the confused pricing on Orange juice. One bottle was positioned behind a sign that read 2 for $8:00. A step away the same brand was positioned behind a price that said 2 for $10:00. His commented that the price of 2 for $8:00 was intended for a different size of bottle. He concluded his comment regarding the brand with "That is why they put writing on it" --- Meaning I should have read the label below the bottle. Sarcasm is inappropriate for a store manager. I will never step into that store again!!

  They don't have tempeh in their vegetarian section for some reason, but they're the only place in Canada I've seen catfish fillet and collards.

  Never been treated like this.... it was 6:10 pm December 31, 2016 my husband & I stopped by the store just to grab cucumber for my missing ingredients for my salad. We saw a guy ( a manager maybe) standing by the exit door & was greeting customers " Happy New Year" while these people leaving the store. So we presumed the store was already closed. But then my husband tried to please this guy if we can just grab a couple of cucumber & it will only take seconds to do it since there were still people paying in line & walking around the store. My husband: " Can we just grab a cucumber quickly please?) Guy/Manager: A WHAT??? My husband: "A cucumber. Guy/Manager "WHAT ABOUT CUCUMBER? My husband: Can I grab some? Guy/Manager" " I SAID WE ARE ALREADY CLOSED 10 MINUTES AGO! I am typing in bold letters because the guy was yelling at my husband. And I can hear his voice because I was standing few meters away from the door. My gosh is this how you treat your customers? as far as I know if you are working in customer service especially when your position is a manager, you shouldn't act like that be civilized & be polite to your customers> people are conveniently coming to your store & you will treat them like that? We are your daily customers there, we live next street. And if customers has complain from your staff we usually call the manager to fix the problem right? So how can you fix it if the problem itself is the manager? So Mr. Manager if you don't know how to communicate well with your customers, you shouldn't be there.... QUIT! Leaving the store very disappointed & frustrated. I liked the store until I met this guy last night..... I like the people at the cashiers especially the young ones, very polite & courteous , also people in customer service where lotto is & western union they are very helpful & nice. I hope we will not see that guy again there anymore, move him to another location or train him first. He should attend first some workshop. Happy New Year METRO!
